The Business Management and Entrepreneurship Programs of the College of Business and Management concluded a one day plant tour at Sta. Rosa, Laguna participated in by senior Marketing and Entrepreneurship students on 27 August 2015.
The activity was spearheaded by the Chairperson, Dr. Arsenio T. Bignotia, accompanied by professors, Dr. Ramil A. Ravanes and Mr. Cesar Abadiano.
The tour gave students an avenue where they can validate learning from theories to application by seeing the actual operations of the well known consumer brands, such as; Singapore-based Gardenia Bakeries (Phils.), Inc.; Jollibee Foods Corporation; and Monde Nissin Corporation, maker of Lucky Me noodles.
The tour started with a warm welcome extended by company representatives, followed by an orientation emphasizing on how careful they are in producing quality products before putting them on the market. Some questions raised by students were properly addressed and made the tour a significant one.
