The main objective of this event was to introduce the main principles of Total Quality Management and demonstrate how to use the TQM models and quality management methodology for the implementation of total quality management in the education/school setting. Furthermore, the following objectives were achieved:
• know organizational excellence models and be able to assess an organization’s performance, making reference to these criteria;

• be able to use quality management methods in analyzing and solving problems of an organization, specifically in the school setting
The seminar was facilitated by Prof. Roselle Marie D. Azucena, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Strategic Planning of Mary Mediatrix Medical Center. With her experience in both the industry and the academe, Prof. Azucena was able to link the Quality Management models and tools in the education setting, specifically on the needs of St. Paul University Manila.
On the first day of the seminar, Prof. Azucena walked through the foundations and concepts of Quality Management. On day 2, she focused on the different quality management tools and the application of each in the education setting.
