The final session of Management Development Program for SY 2016-2017 was held on 21 March 2017 in the HRM Training Center, with the theme, “A Peek into the SPCEM Strategic Plan 2017-2020.” The objective of this activity was to present the key result areas, strategies, key performance indicators, and targets formulated by the SPC Education Ministry for 2017-2020; cascade these plans to the SPU Manila managers, selected employees, and student representatives; and discuss their applicability to both the ministry and the University.

Dr. Jerome Cleofas, Planning Assistant, facilitated the event.

Sr. Evangeline Anastacio, SPC opened the session by sharing the strategic planning process of the SPC Education Ministry.

This introduction was followed by a workshop. The participants were divided into seven groups. Each KRA, together with its strategies, KPIs, and three-year targets, was presented. The members of the groups discussed among themselves and shared with the body the extent to which the plans are applicable and relevant to SPCEM and SPU Manila and certain modifications that may be made.

Sr. Jesusa Taccad SPC, presented KRA1: Paulinian Formation, while Sr. Evangeline Anastacio presented KRA2: Quality Teaching and Learning System, KRA3: Value-Innovated Programs and Services, and KRA4: Good Governance and Stewardship. The PQA team documented the inputs of each group.
