and 84th General Membership AssemblyDate: April 3, 2017Posted by: Marionette Martinez
Selected faculty members of SPU Manila and members of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) attended the conference and general membership assembly with the theme, “Philippine Development: Foregrounding Ethical and Moral Values,” held on 16 March 2017 in the Philippine International Conference Center (PICC).
Participants included Dr. Marichen Dychangco (Associate Member for Division I: Governmental, Educational, and International Policies), Dr. Gerardo Guiuan, Dr. Grace Leongson, and Dr. Elizabeth Ramos (Associate Members for Division VIII: Social Sciences).
The keynote speaker, Rev. Fr. Albert E. Alejo, SJ, PhD, touched the hearts and minds of the participants when he asked two simple questions: “How have I changed as a person since I became a researcher?” and “Is my research simply an addition to my biodata or an enrichment of my biography?”
