The graduate students of the PhD in Nursing Education, Doctor in Business Administration, and Master in Business Administration programs, together with four professors, had an overnight seminar-workshop in Canyon Woods Resorts in Batangas on 22-23 June 2017.
The main objective of the activity, entitled “Building Leadership: Embracing our Paulinian Identity,” was to instill in the minds and hearts of the graduate students the Paulinian traits and attributes which they need to embrace in their own work-worlds.
The topics discussed were:
Transcendence: The Challenge of Leading through Change--Ma. Encarnacion A. Dychangco, RN, PhD
The Sheep and the Shepherd: Valuing Human Relations--Jennifer Joy R. Olivar, RN, PhD
Stewards of God’s Gifts--Mary Grace L. Leongson, DBA
Spirituality of Leadership--Elizabeth D. Ramos, PhD, LPT
The evaluation of the students had a total score of 3.91/4.00-excellent. The graduate students shared that the activity allowed them to share ideas and learn from other disciplines, participate more actively because of the ambiance, and appreciate spirituality as lived in the workplace.
