Nicole Conquilla was named the first-ever winner of the Paulinian Voice during the Karisma: Ang Talento ng Pamilyang Paulino on 26 January 2017. She also bagged the People’s Choice Award.

Conquilla, second year psychology student, a member of Team Luc, garnered the highest score in the combined votes of the coaches and the audience, beating Team Jed’s Jade Asilum, Team Icon’s Abisajac Casimero, and Team Niah’s Yvette Baldovino, all from the Senior High School Department.

The finals of the competition was composed of two parts: the duets and the solos.

Coach Luc and Conquilla became emotional in their rendition of "Huling Sayaw," a song popularized by Kamikazee and Kyla, after the announcement of winners.

Paulinian Voice is the brainchild of the College of Music and the Performing Arts-Student Council, co-presented by the Integrated Student Media Society, the co-curricular organization of the AB Programs, and The Paulinian, the official student publication of the University.

The said event aims to discover, empower, and showcase Paulinian talent through a singing competition. Its mechanics were adapted from a television show called “The Voice.”
