St. Paul University opened its 108th year celebration with the most-awaited University Week with the theme: "Celebrating Diversity, Walking Together in Unity."
The celebration kicked off with a drum and lyre exhibition, presented by selected students from the Senior High School Department. This was followed by an opening liturgy and a colorful dance performance, inspired by the Sinulog Festival, headed by the Paulinian Liturgical Animators and staff members of the university. Miss Lara Aquino, Overall Chair of the celebration, welcomed the Paulinian Community by highlighting the long list of forthcoming exciting events.
This year’s U-Week had an exciting addition, the comeback of the long-awaited Out to Groove 2.0 Street Dance Competition, which was launched in 2004.
University Week is an annual event celebrated by the Paulinian community, where multiple events, from sports to performances, to music, and food showcases, and institutional activities all aiming to invigorate the Paulinian spirit.
