Dr. Raul Sunico, the esteemed Dean of the College of Music and the Performing Arts (CMPA), captivated audiences at the Mozarthaus Concert Hall in Vienna, Austria, on June 7, 2024. The successful concert was co-organized by Philippine Ambassador to Austria, Evangeline Lourdes Arroyo-Bernas, and the Philippine-Austrian Cultural Educational Society (PACES) President, Jane Abaya, along with Efren Abaya. In another remarkable achievement, Dr. Jerome Cleofas, a distinguished alumnus of SPU Manila’s Graduate School, has been named the 2024 Outstanding Young Scientist in Sociology by the National Academy of Science and Technology. Dr. Cleofas, who completed his Master of Arts in Nursing in 2010, continues to bring pride to the university with his significant contributions to the field of sociology. His recognition as an Outstanding Young Scientist is a testament to the high caliber of SPU Manila’s graduate programs and its alumni’s impact on various professional fields.
