Two recent posts of Sr. Ma. Evangeline Anastacio, SPC acknowledge the support of the Senior High School by the alumnae.

Many are surprised why SPU Manila can admit Grade 10 completers from the public schools without any top-up fee. It's because SPUManila gets the support of kind-hearted individuals and groups, especially the alumni, to cover the gap between the voucher and the tuition. This is one of the objectives of the Hope Of Paulinian Education (H.O.P.E.) Ablaze fund-raising program which we launched on January 23, 2015.

We are grateful to SPCM HS Batch 62 (from the Philippines and abroad) for their scholarship fund donation for 25 Senior High Students for SY 2016-2017 (PHP 312,500 which consists of 50% of their pledge); and for the book allowance donation of PHP 4,000 for each of the scholars. (A total book allowance of PHP 100,000). Batch 62 is a model batch which we wish all other Paulinian Alumni groups would emulate.

During the Centennial Year, SPUM HS Batch 62 donated 1.1M to the SPUM Professorial Chair Endowment Fund. In 2014, the Professorial Chair was awarded to Dr. Elizabeth Ramos who, with the support of Batch 62, presented her research output to the International academic community in Boston, USA. Batch 62 was the first batch who pledged their support for the SHS scholarship fund.

Thank you very, very much, dear SPUM HS Batch '62. May God bless you more!
Other alumni batches who wish to contribute to the SHS Scholarship through the H.O.P.E. ABLAZE program may send me a private message.

Sister’s second post acknowledges a solo donor, Milagros Glodava (BSE 1962):

This wonderful lady helped her Alma Mater, St. Paul University Manila, put up the H.O.P.E. Ablaze Fund Raising program. She was with us even before the project was launched in January 2015 and she continues to inspire and support us in our campaign.

More than that, she pledged a very generous donation of $25,000 for this cause. Just yesterday we received the first 33% of her pledge ($8,500). T
hank you very much, dear Mila! May God bless you more!
