SPU MANILA DELEGATES PARTICIPATE IN 27TH ASEACCU CONFERENCE

The SPU Manila Planning and Quality Assurance Manager, Ms. Maridel Negradas, and a BS in Tourism Management student, Ms. Francesca Marie Dychangco, attended the 27th Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) Annual Conference, held on 19-22 August 2019 in Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.
The theme of this year’s conference was “Reconciliation and the Situation in the East Asian Region.”
The conference included an Internationalization Program, which gave the participants the opportunity to explore possibilities of collaboration and foster internationalization initiatives among the ASEACCU member institutions.
Moreover, simultaneous conferences were held for faculty and students.
Research studies on reconciliation were presented and a series of lectures on Gender Equality and Becoming a 21st Century Global Citizen were conducted in the said conferences.
The next conference will be held on 25-29 August 2020 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
