High School 1965 held a 40th day prayer for and remembrance of Sr. Ma. Anunciata Sta. Ana, SPC, via zoom, on 16 September 2020. After the prayers, two songs were rendered for Sister: “Come Home,” sung by CMPA alumnus, Russell Indab, and Sister’s composition, “Sinong Makapaghihiwalay sa Atin sa Pag-Ibig ni Kristo,” sung by Rica Arambulo, daughter of Carmencita Guanzon-Arambulo, Conservatory of Music alumna, who accompanied her on the piano. [Christian Geo Molina, CMPA alumnus, who was supposed to have read the poem he wrote for Sister, missed the event so he read it at the regular 3:00 prayer session of HS 1965.]

The event was participated in by 26 friends of Sr. Anunciata, led by Sr. Lilia Tolentino, Provincial Superior of the St. Paul Sisters in the Philippines, and SPU Manila administrators—Sr. Evangeline Anastacio, Sr. Alegria Avellaneda, and Sr. Flor Deza. The alumnae attendees were from the host class, HS 1965, as well as from HS 1962, 1964, 1968, 1969, and 1954.

Local based alumnae were joined by a number from abroad—Canada, Virginia, Virginia Beach, New York, and New Jersey.

It was a happy get-together of Paulinians all—religious and lay, young and old—bound by a common love for Sr. Anunciata.
