“Be grateful for the past, value the present, be hopeful for the future.” Rev. Fr. Norman Melchor Peña, SSP, quoted in his homily at the Baccalaureate Mass, held at the Fleur-de-lis Theater at 7:00 AM, May 31, 2025.

After the Mass came the Entrance of the School Mace, led by Ms. Cristina H. Price, University Registrar. The Mace is an emblem of the authority of the University as a degree-granting institution and of the University President, Sr. Maria Evangeline Anastacio.

The Address of Welcome was delivered by Ranilo H. Pardito, PhD, (MASPED). In his speech, he stated that there was one passage from the Bible that he kept with him throughout. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith,” from 2 Timothy 4:7. He explained that the graduation was a significant moment of his life,  having been given the opportunity to deliver the Welcome Address. To him, this milestone was the reward of his hard work and sleepless nights, along with his fellow graduates.  The Address of Petition was given by Alfonso Victor C. Castro (MAED-ELM). He began his speech by suggesting that one sometimes doubts himself in the moment, not knowing who one truly is or what one truly wants to be. He added that there were times he would mumble to himself that maybe this dream was not for him. However, through St. Paul College of Bocaue, he felt doors open for him. Throughout this journey, he reminded everyone to be grateful as they are supported to grow and given opportunities.
