St. Paul University Manila honored outstanding students for their academic achievements in the First Semester of School Year 2024–2025 in the Academic Recognition Ceremony, held on May 8, 2025, at the Founder’s Hall.
Ms. Nenita Garcia-Brocoy served as the emcee of the event. The opening prayer was led by Ms. Johanna Belale, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Ms. Cristina Price, in her opening remarks, commended the awardees for their diligence and perseverance and acknowledged the unwavering support of their proud parents. Students from the College of Business and Management (CBM), College of Education and Liberal Arts (CELA), College of Music and the Performing Arts (CMPA), and College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) were formally recognized for their academic excellence.

Closing the event, Dr. Lourna V. Tagay, Vice President for Academics and Research, delivered an inspiring message, quoting Mickey Mouse: “If you dream it, you can do it.” She extended heartfelt congratulations to the awardees and their families, expressing gratitude to the College of Education and Liberal Arts for organizing the ceremony and acknowledging the collective support of the SPU Manila academic community. The program concluded with a prayer led by Ms. Manilen Rentegrado, marking a memorable day of recognition and celebration for SPU Manila’s academic awardees.
