SPUM undergoes PAASCU Re-Accreditation Visits
St. Paul University Manila underwent re-surveys of its various academic programs on 21-22 March and 25-26 April 2024.
Six programs were visited in March. Five are Level III status programs—specifically Liberal Arts (Psychology and Mass Communication), Elementary and Secondary Education, and Business Administration—and one is a Level II status program, namely Entrepreneurship.
In April, five programs were visited. BS Nursing, which has a Level III status, and CSIT and HMTM which are Level II status programs. The various areas of the 2021 PAASCU tool were visited, namely: Leadership and Governance, Quality Assurance, Resource Management, Teaching Learning, Student Services, External Relations, Research, and Results.
The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) is a service organization that accredits or quality assures academic programs of its member schools and does institutional accreditation. The purpose of PAASCU is to support member schools in their journey towards quality improvement, that is grounded in the institution’s educational philosophy as well as its unique vision and mission. SPU Manila is one of the 11 charter members of PAASCU.
