DISASTER PREPAREDNESS OF PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES IN MALABON CITY

The study sought to determine the level of disaster preparedness of public health nurses in Malabon City. The researcher utilized descriptive quantitative research approach by providing a questionnaire and survey forms. Respondents were identified through purposive sampling. The researcher employed a research made questionnaire which measures the level of disaster preparedness of Public Health Nurses in Malabon City. The questionnaire was validated by four experts and pilot tested in order to determine reliability of the instrument.

Development of an Outline of Contents for a Textbook on Infectious and Tropical Diseases for Filipino Nursing Students

The study produced an outline of contents for a nursing textbook on infectious and tropical diseases that can be used by Filipino nursing students. An Integrative Literature Review using the keywords book development, infectious, and tropical diseases nursing book and Delphi Technique (three rounds survey) were utilized. The outline of contents was presented. Experts in the field of infectious and tropical institution from reputable organizations evaluated the outline.

Self‐directed learning readiness and learning styles among Omani nursing students: Implications for online learning during the COVID‐19 pandemic

This study explored self‐directed learning (SDL) readiness among nursing students in Oman, their learning styles (LS), and the association of demographic variables and LS with SDL. The study, which followed a descriptive, cross‐sectional design, surveyed 236 Omani nursing students via an online questionnaire containing two standardized scales: the Self‐Directed Learning Readiness Scale for Nursing Education and the Learning Style Scales. Nursing students were identified as having a low level of SDL (mean= 149.58). Probation status (β=−0.165; p=0.021) was negatively associated with SDL.

Debussy's preludes in book 2

Claude Debussy was a French composer from the late 19th and early 20th centuries who wrote a famous piece called Clair de Lune. His music is often compared to Impressionism in art. The preludes in book two are twelve works of very different styles, composed from 1910 to 1913. Compared with book one, the second book of the prelude reflects Debussy's musical style's transformation. Melody innovation, bi-tonality, overlapped chord, and a small amount of compound rhythm, or polyrhythm. The titles are still placed at the end by the composer in book two, like what he did in book one.

AWIT NI PULAU: A NEW AND COMPREHENSIVE PERFORMANCE EDITION

Ramon Santos' Awit Ni Pulau was completed in 1990 and is a children's musical based on a tale written by Edgar Maranan. Written for the University of the Philippines Cherubim and Seraphim, this choral masterpiece for children has drawn together performers and audience in an effort to spread the urgent message of creation care. This paper introduced the new performance edition which aims to provide effective technical, musical, and staging assistance to performers and audience members preparing for the musical.

DEVELOPMENT OF a TRANSFORMATIONAL PLAN FOR SHAOGUAN UNIVERSITY TOWARDS APPLIED UNIVERSITY STATUS

As the state of China provided policy support to promote the transformation of local universities into applied universities, this study determined the criteria can help Shaoguan University (SU) to achieve the status of applied university. This study made use of a mixed method of research, including qualitative research and quantitative research.

A PROPOSED SERVICE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MODEL FOR JLY SUPERMARKET

In the face of fierce competition, JLY supermarket is faced with the problem of improving service quality and customer satisfaction. Based on SERVQUAL model, this study investigated the service quality of supermarkets from the five dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility. It found out the main factors affecting the service quality, and established the service quality improvement model.

The Entrepreneurial Mindset (TEM) among St. paul university (SPU) Manila Students: Basis for Course Improvement

Using the College Students’ Entrepreneurial Mindset Scale (Jung, E., & Lee, Y.,2020) as tool, the study determined the Entrepreneurial Mindset of the students enrolled in SPU Manila. Quantitative research design was used. Data was gathered during the culminating activity of TEM which was a webinar on the same topic.

ADAPTING THE TRANNOVATION MARKETING DURING THE NEW NORMAL

The Researcher interviewed selected past and present presidents of organizations from the Philippine Marketing Association and the Association of Marketing Educators. She asked them, “How do you re-define marketing in the new normal?” In the diagnostic discovery, the Researcher found out that the majority believe marketing in the new will be re-defined by digital transformation (the use of Omni Channels). Purpose driven companies or brands will take care of people and the environment, and will be mindful on the changes in consumer behavior.
