On January 27, 2023, the most awaited Pet Parade made a comeback after years of being on hold due to the pandemic. The College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS), together with the Paulinian Environmental Society (PES), organized a program dedicated to the students’ and teachers’ lovely pets and called “Special Pals: Pet Parade and Costume Contest."
The Search for the Paulinian Ambassadors was participated in by competitors from the four colleges. The representatives of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences—Raphaelo "Gelo" F. Guiuan from BSN 1 and Josie Mari A. Dator from BSN 2—emerged victorious.
SPU Manila began Day 2 of the University Week 2023 with a Zumba Festival, followed by “Palarong Paulino” on January 26, 2022 at the SPUM Quadrangle.
As the annual SPU Manila University Week celebration came back onsite, so did the Paulinian Dance Troupe’s street dance competition, Out to Groove, where the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) dancers were hailed as champions. The iconic dance showdown bannered the theme, “Grooving in the new normal.”
The 2023 University Week started with a bang as Singing Bee kicked off with contestants from different colleges on January 24, 2023, at the SPU Manila Quadrangle. Five groups from various colleges and senior high school strands participated in the Singing Bee, a first in the history of the SPU Manila University Week.
On January 25, 2023, SPU Manila celebrated the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and its 111th Founding Anniversary with an Institutional Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Norman Melchor Peña, SSP. This was followed by the Service Awards 2023 in the Fleur-de-lis Theatre.
St. Paul University Manila kicked off its annual University Week celebration through a solemn procession on January 24 in honor of its Patron, St. Paul; the Immaculate Conception; and the Santo Niño de Pandacan.
