In a festive celebration at the Our Lady of Remedies Parish, Malate Church, an annual event dedicated to the Blessed Virgin last November 11 unfolded with vibrant musical performances from various chorale groups.

After several years of hiatus due to the global pandemic, the SPU Manila community gathered together to participate in the Living Rosary held in the Chapel of the Crucified Christ on October 25. Present at the said event were the SPC Sisters, administrators, faculty and staff, and students from the Senior High School and College Departments.

On October 24, 2023, the Paulinian community gathered for the unveiling and blessing of the National Museum of the Philippines marker designating the FDL theatre as “Mahalagang Yamang Pangkalinangan.” SPU Manila also celebrated World Teachers Day together with the Freshmen Initiation.

SPU Manila held a Fire Safety Seminar on Monday, October 23, at the School Quadrangle, in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection - Intramuros, the SPUM Disaster Team Management, and the Readiness Efforts for Disaster Management (REDM).

On October 19, 2023, selected staff members of The Paulinian (TP) participated in the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility’s (CMFR) Jaime V. Ongpin Journalism Seminar and the presentation of the Marshall McLuhan Fellow and CMFR’s Award of Distinction. The TP staffers who participated in the seminar were Jewel Kirsten Enriquez (Managing Editor), Clarence Matthew Jimenez (Staffer, Creatives Department), and Precious Chyll Cabigan (Staffer, Creatives Department).
